Expert Instructors Trained in Our Methods

The most important factor in student achievement is the teacher and the methods he or she uses. At MasterMind Prep, our instructors don’t just tutor–they teach. We employ experts with strong academic credentials, high character and demonstrated subject knowledge and experience. We prepare them with specialized training in our unique methods and provide them with proven lesson plans and curriculum designed by experts so they don’t have to make it up as they go.

Trained, Qualified Professionals

All instructors and learning coaches on the MasterMind Prep team have a love for learning and are committed to each student’s success. They are certified teachers, professional tutors and other qualified professionals. Unlike some companies, all of our instructors are our employees–not independent contractors. We believe this is critical to get their buy-in and commitment delivering results the MasterMind Prep way.

Our instructors must have at least a Bachelor’s degree and related experience in their subject, although we occasionally hire brilliant college students for SAT prep and higher level math instruction. Every one is screened to show a positive attitude, strong communications skills and an ability to relate to students.

As part of a multi-step screening process, we verify that they have strong academic records and experience in their subject specialty and and require them to complete criminal background, reference and education verification checks.

Training, Monitoring and Coaching

We give them the tools to be great instructors and a structured training process including live, video and self-paced training, direct instruction from and “teach-backs” with our trainers, and actual instruction. We monitor them regularly, giving them feedback and coaching on how to improve.
